Stephen Justice is a trombonist, composer, arranger, and educator currently residing in the New York metropolitan area. Stephen is a versatile musician who is comfortable playing in a wide range of musical settings. In 2013 he was selected to be a member of the Disneyland All-American College Band. An active free-lancer, Stephen has performed with many groups throughout the United States, including the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. He also has performed at venues such as Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center and The Jacksonville Jazz Festival. In 2014, Stephen was awarded a BM degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Florida, where he studied trombone with Dave Steinmeyer and Clarence Hines. UNF's top Jazz Ensemble won the downbeat award for best undergraduate large jazz ensemble during Stephen's tenure as lead trombonist. He is currently pursuing a MM degree in Jazz Studies at Rutgers University where he studies with Conrad Herwig.
